Under this program various advocacy campaigns are developed. This is a flexible arena where the Center can respond to the current socio political situation and provide a platform for citizens, specifically youth to act together for a free and open society. This is also a valuable opportunity to bring the young trainees from the leadership program in the loop and get them involved in the real collective work. From this they learn to assert their rights and the practical aspects of strategic thinking, strategic action and alliance building.

AASHA (Alliance Against Sexual Harassment):

This is an alliance of 7 organizations. Mehergarh hosts the secretariat. Arrange of activities are undertaken to curb Sexual harassment at work place. Lobbying with the gout promoting anti Sexual harassment Policy with private sector, media campaigns, awareness raising, seminars & training. For more information see www.aasha.org.pk

Campaign Against Bonded, Labour:

Our Hyderabad Office host this campaign. Awareness raising, rallies, research & actual legal cases to free bonded Labour is a part of this campaign.
